Favorite part of earning her certification? Sharon enjoyed traveling across NC to visit many counties that she never would have visited. She had the privilege to go to workshops from the Outerbanks to the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Certification experience that stands out? "My favorite outdoor experience was at a PLT workshop where we learned the parts of a tree. I received my degree in Landscape Gardening and this was an experience that truly made the information real and easier to remember."
Her Action Partnership? For Sharon's Action Partnership she used her skills from her degree in Landscape Gardening to design and implement a vegetable and flower garden at a local Homeless Women’s shelter.
