Durham, NC (Durham County) What does she do? Sandy works for the Center for Education, Imagination and the Natural World where she serves as the Director for Children's Programs, the College Intern Coordinator and Organic Gardener.
Favorite part of earning her certification? Sandy's favorite part of earning her certification was the Environmental Education Learning Experiences (EELEs) offered by the State Parks.
Certification experience that stands out? "I enjoyed seeing the lovely, ribbon-like leeches, five inches long, in the headwaters of the Haw River," says Sandy.
Her Action Partnership? Sandy led a creek and trail restoration in the New Hope Creek Preserve.
