Park Ranger as profession Spare time: hiking, fishing, reading, gardening, beekeeping, brewer, cooking and being a dad.
What was your favorite part of earning your certification?
I really enjoyed the aquatic classes.
What certification experience stands out for you?
The wide array of people and professions enrolled in the EE certification.
What was your community partnership project and how did it affect the community?
I created an annual art contest with the local high school using themes from Grandfather Mountain State Park. This gave the students and their families an opportunity to explore public lands and enjoy the ecological gem in their backyards. Many had no idea that the State Park existed before the project.
